AFL 9s players will have the chance to compete on the hallowed turf of Patersons Stadium when the West Australian Football Commission hosts an AFL 9s Tournament on November 29.
With three different Divisions, anyone over the age of 16 can get involved and be part of the action. Catering to a host of new markets, this innovative new tournament will be contested between teams of up of 12 players across divisions including Open, Mixed and 35+.
Every team that registers will be kitted out with a set of 12 customised team singlets including team names, logos, player names and numbers.
Fixtures will include 4 x 20 minute qualifying matches before the finals are played under lights at Patersons Stadium.
At a cost of just $85 per player, participants receive singlets, insurance, on-ground entertainment, prizes and best of all – the chance to play at the home of WA football, Patersons Stadium!
WAFC event coordinator Josh Bowler said the tournament was a great opportunity to showcase AFL 9s to the wider community at the home of WA Football.
“I am thrilled by this opportunity to display the potential of AFL 9s and give participants the unique chance to play at Patersons Stadium,” he said.
“We aim to continue delivering this innovative product that will capture a host of new markets that might otherwise be lost to the game of Australian Rules.”
Registrations are open now, so get your mates, form a side and get involved in what is sure to be a money can’t buy experience at Patersons Stadium this summer.
